Art Lessons
Join us for an author reading with a difference – a blending of the visual and literary arts! 
Art Lessons is the YA crossover, debut novel of local author and playwright, Katherine Koller. Written in the voice of Cassie, who has a strong love of trees and art, it follows her from 7 years to 17, as she discovers the transformative power of art. Joining Katherine in this program will be 11 local artists from 7 to 17 years old, each creating their own artistic tree renderings while Katherine reads and shares Art Lessons.
Refreshments served. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Katherine writes for stage, screen and page. Her latest project is a six-part documentary series for Telus OptikTV, Sustainable Me. More information about Katherine is available through her website.
