Reel Monday presents Maudie

The Reel Monday fall season ends with Maudie.

Disabled but determined Maudie (Sally Hawkins) seeks an independent life away from her overprotective family. She answers an ad for a live-in housekeeper for local businessman Everett Lewis (Ethan Hawke). Maudie begins to pursue her love of painting in spite of her crippling arthritis and hunched back. As she paints an unlikely romance begins to develop between the two. Based on a true story.
