A Journey of Reconciliation

What does reconciliation look like? Please join Richard Van Camp, 2017 Writer in Residence and the St. Albert Library as they host the launch of  Monique Gray Smith’s new books for young people: Speaking Our Truth: A Journey of Reconciliation and You Hold Me Up.

Monique Gray-Smith is a mixed heritage woman of Cree, Lakota, and Scottish descent. She is an award winning author, international speaker and sought after consultant.

Richard Van Camp, our Writer in Residence, is a proud member of the Dogrib (Tlicho) Nation from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.  An internationally renowned storyteller and best-selling author, he is also a writer of multiple talents, with baby books, children’s books, comic books, graphic novels and films all to his credit.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.
