Armchair Travel: Decade of Discover--Around the World in 10 Years

With a thirst for adventure and an irrepressible curiosity Shahla and Peter Nygaard set out on a world tour that would take them to the brink of death, the pinnacle of health and vigour and everywhere in between. By spending months walking and years on bicycles, they made their way through seventy-seven countries on six continents.  On this journey they gained an understanding of themselves, not just as individuals but as a species, dominant over yet servile to the planet they inhabit.
