Evaluating Genealogy Information

The internet has opened many new paths for genealogy research but unfortunately, some of what we find on the internet is unreliable or just wrong. This presentation will provide the hobby genealogist with some tools to assess the value of what they find, and to document the source of the find. We’ll discuss sources, informants and evidence, and look at a way of analysing your research to resolve discrepancies.  We’ll also talk about source citation to duplicate and validate your research.

Presented by John Wemhof.
