Themes that we will discuss in our Zoom meeting:

- Trauma. What sorts of things do the characters do to cope with trauma? Which ones would you categorize as a quick fix vs. healing?

- Systemic Oppression. What factors play into Shane's current situation? What are the systems (people, institutions, etc) that put him in such a difficult spot?

- Resilience. What provides strength and hope to the characters?
