Unsilent Night

***This is an outdoor event lasting approximately 1 hour. Please dress for the weather!***

Be part of a moving sound sculpture and spread some joy and light on the longest night of the year! Unsilent Night is an annual, worldwide event for all ages that uses sound to create a unique, ever-changing piece of art with the audience as the performer. Each participant chooses one of four parts of Unsilent Night recorded music to be played aloud simultaneously over a speaker while walking together outside.

It's easy to do—download the tracks or app to play on your device connected to speakers. We'll meet in front of St. Albert Place to synchronize the start of our music, then walk a downtown route together for the next 45 minutes. Participants are encouraged to light up the night and stay safe by wearing bright, festive clothing, lights, and reflectors, and by wearing masks and maintaining a safe distance between households.

Unsilent Night was created by American composer Phil Kline in 1992. For more information visit unsilentnight.com
