Métis Jigging Lessons with Luc Gautier

Join Luc Gautier for Métis jigging lessons! Luc is a long time dancer and teacher in the Métis community. 

Luc Gauthier is a 29 year old from St. Albert and member of Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement. With 20 years of jigging experience Luc is very excited to pass on his knowledge to new dancers young and old. 

Luc is an accomplished musician who’s played across Canada and The United States with his band Calling All Captains. In between touring and recording he makes it a priority to get back in the community either with performances or teaching schools in the St. Albert/Edmonton School Districts. 

This program is a partnership with the Métis Local 1904 Red Willow Program.

Recommended age for participants is 8 years old and up.

6-7pm Community Class! Everyone is welcome

7-8pm Indigenous Class (self-identify)
