Join special guest hosts from the Africans & African Descendants Friendship Club for an evening of film, food, friendship and fun! 

Award-winning filmmaker Byron Hurt explores the cultural significance of soul food in black identity and its enduring popularity. The film also highlights the economic and social factors limiting food choices in black communities and features advocates working for healthier food options and food justice.

After the movie, stick around for snacks and a discussion led by the Friendship Club's Vice President, Toni Harrison.
