Watch Party | Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story

Watch Party | Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story

Join the City of St. Albert and the St. Albert Public Library in celebrating International Transgender Day of Visibility with the story of Jackie Shane, an Ontario-based trans soul singer. In her time, Jackie eclipsed Etta James and Little Richard and blazed an extraordinary trail with an unbreakable commitment to her truth. Forty years after vanishing from public view, this 20th-century icon finally gets her second act.

After the movie, stick around for light refreshments and to socialize with other attendees and support agencies.
